Sulur (சூலூர்)

Sulur is a town located in the south-east of Coimbatore, on the banks of Noyyal River. Sulur is a sub-urb of Coimbatore. Sulur is a town panchayat of its own and also a taluk. It is also a Panchayat Union. It is located 20 km from Coimbatore.

Sulur is well-connected by road network. Trichy Road (NH-81) passes through Sulur. Sulur is connected to Avinashi road(NH-544) through Sulur Main Road(MDR-879).
