    Valparai, located 102 km from Coimbatore City, is one of the famous hill stations of Coimbatore. It is located 64 km from Pollachi. Valparai is a municipality and a taluk which is a part of Coimbatore District. Valparai lies on the Western Ghats and attracts tourists.

How to reach Valparai:

The foothills of Valparai starts from Azhiyar, near Pollachi. Valparai is well-connected by road and bus transport from the nearby cities and towns.

From Coimbatore (Ukkadam Bus Stand): 

Via: Kinathukadavu, Pollachi, Azhiyar, Monkey Falls, Attakatti, Waterfalls Estate, Rottikadai.

6.00 AM, 7.50 AM, 1.05 PM, 3.40PM, 7.00PM.

From Pollachi Bus Stand:

Via: Azhiyar, Monkey Falls, Attakatti, Waterfalls Estate, Rottikadai.

Once in every 20 minutes. (The frequency may be reduced owing to COVID restrictions and lockdowns). 

Note: Bus frequency is reduced during lunch time between 12.30 and 2.30 PM. 

From Tiruppur:

Private buses are available from most cities of South India. 

Intercity buses are available from Madurai, Trichy, Salem, Ramanathapuram and other towns of Tamilnadu. Buses are available from Palakkad, Mysore and nearest cities of Kerala and Karnataka.

By Flight:

Coimbatore International Airport is well connected with flights from Chennai, Mumbai and New Delhi. 

Coimbatore International Airport is located just 15 km from the Ukkadam Bus stand. Town buses, call taxis and auto-rickshaws are available to reach Ukkadam.
